Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Payment
(No Booking is confirmed until the booking fee is paid and a Securing Credit Card details are received)
1.1 – We require a non refundable booking fee to be paid upon booking as per below:
School Balls / Formals- $300.00
Events- $150.00 – $500.00 depending on the period of hire
1.2 – The balance is to be paid as below:
Weddings- 60 days prior to Wedding
School Balls / Formals- 30 days prior to School Ball / Formal
Events- 14 days prior to Event
1.3 – Confirmation of Booking – you agree to our terms & conditions.
1.4 – When the client (you) pays the booking fee to secure our services, it is deemed that you (the client) have read, understood and accept the terms and conditions of this agreement.
1.5 – For all bookings we require a credit card to be held on file until after the event is completed. Once the event has been completed and no monies are owed we will destroy details of this securing credit card.
1.6 – The client (you) will supply your credit card details for security direct to Central Park Limousines. If the above payments have not been made by the due dates you give permission to Central Park Limousines to debit your credit card for payment.
2.1 – If a booking is cancelled the booking fee is non refundable. Nor can it be transferred to another customer or another date unless arrangements have been made.
2.2 – Weddings – cancellation within 60 days of the wedding day will result in the client being liable for the full contract amount.
2.3 – School Balls / Formals – cancellation within 30 days of the ball day will result in the client being liable for the full contract amount.
2.4 – Events – cancellation within 14 days of the event day will result in the client being liable for the full contract amount.
2.5 – In the event where outstanding/overdue payment/s is not made by the client (You) all outstanding accounts will be outsourced to a collection agency and legal action will commence. Any additional fees incurred by collection agencies and/or legal action will be paid by you (the client).
2.6 – In the event you authorise Central Park Limousines to debit your credit card to pay any charge/s incurred by the terms and conditions of this agreement and this credit card provided by the client fails. The outstanding account will be outsourced to a collection agency and legal action will commence. Any fees incurred by collection agencies and/or legal actions will be paid by you.
2.7 – If Central Park Limousines has issued you with a tax invoice for monies owing, and no payment has been received within 7 days, you (the client) authorise Central Park Limousines to debit your securing credit card held on file. If this fails the account will be outsourced as per clause 2.5 & 2.6.
3.1 – Overtime costs will be applied in 15 minute increments at the non-discounted hourly rate.
3.2 – It is your responsibility to ensure that you have booked the service with adequate travelling time to and from destinations.
3.3 – We take no responsibility in unexpected or unavoidable delays such as but not limited to peak hour traffic, road works/closures, bad weather, delayed flights and traffic accidents.
3.4 – Our driver will not continue an overtime service if it risks delaying any subsequent service that has been previously booked.
3.5 – In the event where outstanding / overdue overtime payments are not made by the client (You) within the 7 days, all outstanding accounts will be debited from you securing credit card (held on file)
3.6 – In the event Central Park Limousines debits your credit card for any charge/s incurred by the terms and conditions of this agreement and this credit card provided by the client fails. The outstanding account will be outsourced to a collection agency and legal action will commence. Any fees incurred by collection agencies and/or legal actions will be paid by you.
4.1 – Each limousine is licensed to seat a maximum amount of passengers and under no circumstance will we allow this limit to be exceeded.
4.2 – Abusive, aggressive or disorderly behavior will not be tolerated and continuation of the service will be at the driver’s discretion.
4.3 – Seat belts must be worn at all times as per current legislations. This is the responsibility of each passenger and any fine incurred will be paid by the booking person and or the offending passenger.
4.4 – Objects and/or body parts must remain within the limousine at all times. Continuation of the service will be at the driver’s discretion.
4.5 – Smoking is not permitted in the limousine.
4.6 – Coloured drinks are not permitted in the limousine
4.7 – Food is not permitted in the limousine unless an agreement has been made at the time of booking.
4.8 – Alcohol consumption and drug use is prohibited by law. We do not offer this as part of our service. Central Park Limousines and your driver will not be held responsible or liable for you (the client) or any of your travelling party nor the consequences that may occur. Any fines will be paid by the booking client and the offending passenger.
4.9 – Any damage to the Limousine or excessive mess requiring cleaning caused from any passengers will be the responsibility of the booking party and will be charged accordingly. A $400.00 cleaning fee is standard for any spillage / soiling. If a tax invoice has been issued and no payment received by 7 days Central Park Limousines has your permission to debit the amount from you securing credit card held on file.
4.10 – Unfortunately due to high cost of glass replacements, broken glasses will be charged at $5.00 per glass. This must be paid in cash to the driver at the end of the event, unless arrangements have been made. Please refer to clause 4.9.
5. Vehicle & Passenger Safety
5.1 – We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle in case of emergency.
5.2 – Stretch Limousines are limited access vehicles. Drivers reserve the right to refuse to access a venue that may put the vehicle and/or passengers in an unsafe situation.
5.3 – Luggage capacity of the vehicles is restricted.
5.4 – All bags will be placed in the boot of the limousine at the start of the event and retrieved at the final drop of location. Please also refer to Liability clause 6.2.
5.5 – Passenger numbers are limited to the number of seatbelts inside the vehicle(s). It is unsafe and illegal to “squish in an extra passenger” and will not be accepted. Children will be counted as adults.
5.6 – It is up to the booking client to verify the limousine that they have booked and must note the maximum number of passengers in that vehicle.
6.1 – Central Park Limousines will not be held liable in the event of an accident, mechanical failure or breakdown or if the limousine is no longer safe to drive at any time prior to or during the service. We will endeavour to arrange alternative transport at our discretion and cost.
6.2 – Central Park Limousines accepts no responsibility for items damaged, lost or stolen within the vehicles.
6.3 – You agree to indemnify Central Park Limousines from any claim of loss of personal effects or financial damage directly or indirectly whatsoever incurred by you in the booking of our limousine.
6.4 – The client accepts full responsibility for any damage caused to the vehicle by a member of the travelling party.
PLEASE NOTE: By proceeding with the booking you accept all the terms and conditions and are responsible for all passengers abiding by these terms & conditions. Failure to abide by these terms & conditions will result in immediate termination of the service without a refund.
